WISE Software Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1989. It is a privately held company and is currently headquartered in Newberg, Oregon. WISE Software has enjoyed a rich, 15-year history within the EDA industry, and is one of the last remaining companies that has not been bought, sold, or otherwise changed hands throughout this time.

Many users have come to know WISE Software though its GerbTool product family. GerbTool is the leading OEM product within the EDA industry, through relationships with a wide range of vendors such as Cadence, Cimnet Systems, Electronic Workbench, Electro-Scientific Industries, Mentor, Mivatec, and ScanCAD.

WISE Software also has a well-established base of customer relationships through direct sales of major installations in leading companies, including Intel, Motorola, Nokia, Robert Bosch GmbH, Plexus, Fuji Xerox, Zuton PCB, and Sanmina. These customers, along with thousands of others like them, have benefited from GerbTool's ease-of-use and low cost of ownership.

While we try to offer at least one（and sometimes two！）major releases in a 12-month period, we do not put out releases with one or two insignificant changes just for the sake of putting out a release. Our new releases are about providing our customers what they need, and continually improving the quality and functionality of our products.
